New Appointment Strengthens the First Choice Brand
9th February 2018
Quality and strength in depth are just two of the bywords that have evolved First Choice Group to market leader status for catering spares in the UK.
And that commitment to excellence has been further underlined this week with the appointment of Julian Fisher as the organisation’s new Business Development Manager.
Julian’s experience and skill set is second-to-none. He spent 16 years with Hobart, graduating from call centre operative to Parts & Service Manager, before moving to GEV where he worked as the company’s Technical & Sales Manager.
He has been tasked with developing relationships with customers and manufacturers to support the exponential growth of First Choice Group across all areas of the business.
“It’s great to be at the UK’s market leader for catering spares, a company which can provide the financial backing to explore the opportunities which will unlock the enormous potential we have for growth and development,” he said.
“I’m very happy to be here, assisting all departments across all areas of the business.”
Julian, who has a marketing degree and training in commercial catering and wholesale, will work in tandem with department heads to build on existing successes.
“I’m looking forward to working with the sales team, marketing and the training guys in Combico UK to enhance the service already being provided through innovation and the advancement of current processes.”
First Choice Group’s Managing Director, John Whitehouse, said Julian’s appointment is a signal of intent.
“Julian’s wealth of experience, his knowledge and his skills will be a big asset for us in driving the company forward to achieve even greater successes in the future,” he said.
“We now operate at a much higher level than we did even 12 months ago so adding someone of Julian’s calibre to the First Choice operation reflects our ambition for growing the business and pushing the boundaries of what we can accomplish.”
Married with three-children, Julian is a big Wolverhampton Wanderers fan, enjoys running and tennis and fundraising for charity.
