Great Success for First Choice at Hospitality Show

First Choice Stand2

Months in the planning, over in days, the 2017 Great Hospitality Show lived up to all expectations.
The great and the good of the foodservice industry gathered at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre earlier this week to showcase best practice in a bid to engage with and snare new customers.

And for First Choice Group the opportunity to present its worth and reach a new audience was not to be missed.
The company’s impressive stand drew a lot of attention and encouraged fellow suppliers, industry manufacturers, members of the public and even catering students to come and talk to the team about all their equipment and training needs.

National Sales Manager Neil Vincent directed proceedings ably assisted by his Area Sales Managers Ryan Underhill, Martin Allen, Jack Stockley, Chris Payne and David Fletcher.
The supporting cast was just as impressive with First Choice Group Refrigeration Manager Steve James and Combico UK’s Technical Training Manager, Martin Dagnall, on hand to satisfy people’s thirst for knowledge and opportunity.
And to underline just how important the show is for the UK’s number one supplier of catering spare parts, First Choice Group Directors, John Whitehouse and Carl Bate, along with Commercial Manager, John Scott, Customer Service Manager, Clare Romeo, Purchasing Manager, Nigel Wykes, Project Manager, Andy Lawrence and Marketing Manager, Helen Nicks, were also in attendance.

“The Great Hospitality Show has a reputation across the world for being the most comprehensive exhibition of its kind in the UK for foodservice professionals,” said John Whitehouse.
“As such it is a valuable opportunity for First Choice to promote the business, attract new customers and explore networking opportunities.”

First Choice Stand3

The nature and success of pro-active and productive working relationships was in evidence on stand 250 as First Choice partner Brita UK pitched up with us to launch its innovative Purity C Steam.
The company’s Business Development Manager, Steve Buckmaster, said: “We were very proud to work alongside First Choice Group at such a prestigious industry event.”

By the end of the show’s third and final day on Wednesday (25 January) the sales team had received hundreds of enquiries, engaged with an abundance of potential new customers and promoted the work of First Choice Group to an even wider audience of suppliers and manufacturers.

“It was a job well done by everyone,” added John.
“First Choice Group has built a reputation for outstanding customer service and efficiency so it was important for us to demonstrate that by showcasing our knowledge and experience at an event which has such a strong appeal and industry value.”

The foundations being laid by First Choice, building on its already formidable industry ranking, will come to fruition in the next couple of months when the company moves into its new multi-million pound headquarters on Staffordshire's exclusive Kingswood Lakeside development.
