Catering Insight August Issue 2015

In a recent visit to the First Choice HQ, Catering Insight Editor Clare Nicholls sat down and chatted with company Director John Whitehouse about the business and his plans for the future.

It’s no secret that the business has developed significantly over the past 2 years, with the company transitioning from First Choice Catering Spares, to the all-encompassing First Choice Group. John Whitehouse made the following statement on the recent rebrand of the company, “The new name brings all of these divisions together under one umbrella to show that we can provide the full spectrum of spare parts and services to the catering equipment maintenance industry.”

Earlier this year First Choice also achieved the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management accreditation, a project that was personally managed by HR and Quality Manager, Denise Whitehouse. As a result the company is now able to monitor and audit all processes and procedures, in order to maximise customer satisfaction, whilst enabling the company to maintain its award winning customer service standards.

The article written by Clare details many of the future plans for First Choice, including the objective to be a £50m company by 2020.
