Combico UK - Training for the Future

World Class

Shaping the future of the industry by evolving standards of service to new heights, Combico UK, our specialist training division, is breaking new ground in 2017.

Technical Training Manager, Martin Dagnall, said the ambition to develop provision at our state-of-the-art headquarters will result in greater opportunities for gas engineers.

“Combico UK is a specialised business which is dedicated to supporting the commercial catering industry,” he said.

“Our focus is clear, quality matters so our training is organised and facilitated to ensure engineers receive both the knowledge and the experience they will need to succeed in the industry.

“The technology and equipment that we use provides candidates with the chance to work on the kind of equipment they will come into contact with every day. Having this familiarity is crucial as it means they are fully prepared to carry out work with the insight and expertise that’s required."

Since moving to our new home on Staffordshire’s exclusive Kingswood Lakeside development, Combico UK has expanded its training provision.

“The move to our new facility has been a massive boost to our training as we have been able to extend our fully equipped, fully functional kitchens and the equipment used in them to train on,” adds Martin.

“It means the opportunities to gas engineers will be even bigger and better than they were before as services will be expanded and new courses created.”

Combico UK is certified by Logic Certification to run gas courses and carry out assessments under the Nationally Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) for Gas Fitting Operatives. It caters for both the experienced gas engineer looking to renew ACS qualifications or an engineer that wants training to broaden skill sets.

It also offers pre-learning packs prior to assessments so as to minimise the amount of time that engineers might ordinarily take in order to pursue training, which may compromise their day job.
